Game Developers Conference 2020 (GDC Summer) will be taking place in August 2020. The three-day all-digital conference will kick off on the 4th and end on the 6th.

GDC Summer 2020 will be the first all-digital Game Developers Conference with an expanded daily schedule to better accommodate attendees in different time zones around the world.

All live session broadcasts will immediately be archived on the event platform for on-demand access the week of GDC Summer.

The event will feature keynote sessions through live broadcasts. Sponsored sessions from leading game technology companies will be available covering the latest products, tools, services, and techniques.

There will also be interactive sessions spanning 30-minute “Ask Me Anything” sessions featuring industry experts answering questions related to specific game development topics. Notable industry experts available include Funomena CEO Robin Hunicke and award-winning composer Winifred Phillips!

Also part of the interactive sessions includes the Skill-Building Series which are 45-minute instructional presentations from expert instructors. Attendees will be taken through an exemplary project and review the tools and techniques used to create the work. Instructors include experienced artist and game designer Tyriq Plummer and veteran investor Teppei Tsutsui.

The Roundtables will be 45-minute live and interactive peer-to-peer discussions on open-ended topics. The roundtable facilitators include Kitfox Games communication director Victoria Tran and veteran producer Grant Shonkwiler.

There will also be networking opportunities to expand your professional network and join leading companies in game development ready to provide solutions for your business challenges.

Finally, GDC Pitch will provide opportunities for selected GDC Play studios to pitch their games to a panel of investors and publishers in front of a live audience followed by questions, advice, and feedback.
